![]() Everything is loud (but not too loud) and clear. The sound quality is what you'd expect from a good remaster. But if this isn't from the original tapes, they've managed to access a very high generation copy. Now I can't say if it's from the original tapes or not because there's nothing on or in the box or booklet that says so. I took a shot on this set (Pilot aren't the easiest band to find around here if you want more than just "January" and "Magic") and I am pleased to say that while they have turned the volume up a bit, it's overall fantastic! 'Call Me Round' was recorded by Pilot and is found on their "Second Flight" albumĪlmost every new CD I've bought - especially remasters of old albums - over the last ~20 years has been pretty crap, usually loud and overly compressed.
